Music of the Times was officially established in 1997 after years of requests for the owner to do special events. Originally based out of Williamsport PA until 2001 when moved to Richmond VA. Since then Music of the Times has grown to service any event and occasion that may require entertainment.

Jim Hock, Owner and DJ/MC
Jim began DJing in 1995 in college for Lycoming College radio station. In 1996 he began working for KISS FM in Williamsport PA as a DJ until 1998. During this time friends and family requested him to DJ at weddings and formal events, which lead to the establishment of Music of the Times in 1997. For a 1 and a half years Jim ran and DJed at UPTOWN, a night club at Bucknell University.

Jim has DJed every type of event and is knowledgeable of all types of music and traditions. He will do everything possible to make your event the most memorable event possible.
